Find Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
How do the classes/courses work?
What is the deadline for an assignment?
There are no real deadlines for each assignment. A student moves through at the pace that is comfortable for them and is in control of test and due dates.
How many courses can I take at a time?
At the LB iLearn Online, our goal is to help you succeed. For this reason, many students take only one course at a time, however, students are allowed to take a maximum of two courses at a time.
How long is each course and how long will it take to complete my program?
This depends on how many credits the course/program is and how quickly a student wants to move through. One credit is equivalent to approximately 30 hours, so an average 3-credit class should take 90 hours to complete. Realistically, this is about one month of work for a full-time student.
When can I start my first class?
With flexible start dates, you can begin your courses any Wednesday of the year once all necessary admission steps are complete.

Will LB iLearn Online credits transfer to other institution?
All programs are accredited and transferable. They will transfer just as any traditional LBCC program credits would.
Is my degree different from a traditional LBCC degree?
While the process to earn your degree is quite different, the degree you earn through LB iLearn Online is not. Your earned degree or certificate will look the same as those earned on LBCC’s campus.
Will I receive credit for work experience?
You will not officially receive credit for your work experience, however, knowledge and experience will assist you in advancing through your program more quickly.
